In February 2013, the United States Supreme Court agreed to hear a class action case involving workers at U.S. Steel's Gary Works in Indiana (Sandifer, et al. v. U.S. Steel Corp., No. 12-417). The workers filed their suit in 2007, demanding to be paid for the time it takes to put on the protective clothing their jobs required.
